  EDEL has released yet another brilliant concept in solid high performance paragliders, the Excel will open up new levels of flying for experienced pilots without the hazards of a proto-type wing. Excel is secure high performance glider for regular cross country and competition pilots. DESIGN FEATURES

EXCEL is an X-C glider suitable for pilots with 75 hours plus, who understand and have experienced thermic conditions can handle unstable flight conditions.

bulletPartially closed leading edge maintains the profile at higher speeds.
bulletDiagonal ribs and new cell panel design ensure excellent opening behaviour and minimise drag while maintaining clean surfaces.
bulletNew efficient line layout means higher top speed and better glide with increased safety.

The new Excel replaces the Response and will fit between the Mercury and the Ace in Edel's range and Excel owes much of it's design features to the Ace development program. The technology applied has been combined with the turning characteristics of the Response giving a superb all round high performance glider, a positive delight to fly. The Excel climbs very efficiently enabling you to keep on top of the competition, a real bonus!

The Excel has the performance you would expect but handling and turn behaviour are where you will really notice the difference!  Warning !!! Test fly this thing and you'll want it!
