Medium Aspect Ratio (Intermediate) Medium Aspect kites are a wider design and although not as quick in the air as the High Aspect, their performance in freestyle riding is incredible. They give a constant power delivery and also do not need as much input as the high aspect Kites. The wider design also makes for an easier relaunch from the water. These kites can give some Big Air! 2006 Cabrinha Crossbow
Much more aerodynamic! The Crossbow is essentially a flatter 4 line inflatable kite which has incredible efficiency and depower capabilities. The flat arc of the kite, also known as Pro Span Extreme, produces more raw power than a classic arc kite of the same size. The flatter arc and unique leading edge bridle are the elements responsible for the Crossbow’s incredible depowering capabilities. The Crossbow, together with our new 2 to 1 control system provides a level of security that can only be described as revolutionary. Surfing, Freeride, Wakestyle! The Switchblade is the second kite in our series of revolutionary bow kites. The Switchblade uses the exact same technology as the Crossbow which has made a profound change in the performance and security of our sport. The Crossbow and the Switchblade are the industry leading kites which have introduced new levels of power, depower and security which all other kites are now judged by. The Switchblade differs from the Crossbow mainly in its degree of Pro Span Extreme™. The Switchblade has a slightly rounder arc than the Crossbow which lends itself to smooth and easy handling. Especially when relaunching from the water. The less aggressive Pro Span Extreme™ means that the Switchblade has slightly less lift than the Crossbow but is incredibly more stable. The reduced lift means that the Switchblade is less influenced by gusty and unpredictable wind. The Switchblade kite is ideal for Wakestyle, Surfing, and Freeriding. Features: as above.
